Microsoft goes for new look. Clearly trying to become Apple and have a slick, clean, shiny look to appeal to the retards who think a good computer is one that looks good.

I was hoping they'd just switched the s for a $ when I clicked on this. The logo just doesn't do anything for me though. Really generic.

I expect it to go something more like this.
Microsoft will forget to patent this, Apple will file for the patent next week, but it won't be approved until 2015. Then they will sue Microsoft for using the colors for the last few years.

I guess the shape makes it easier to print, though if I saw the logo without the word next to it I'd have no idea what it was.

Well, look at the bright side. At least you can recreate this new logo with ease using Microsoft's own Windows drawing software, Microsoft Paint. Just need to identify the font and I could make a version that looks almost identical.
Well, not that I could care. Have fun digging your own grave with your Windows 8 shovel, Microsoft.

I kind of like the new logo. It's simple, effective, and doesn't deviate too far from the flag-window they used to have.
