Neil Gaiman is set to direct his first feature ever, as he is rumored to be adapting his graphic novel Death: The High Cost of Living for the big screen. For those of you who might not know, the novel is set in the amazing Sandman universe, and centers on Death, who, in this case, happens to be a beautiful young lady.

Shia LaBeouf is set to play the male lead, while a 'prominent' Hollywood actress is on tap to play Death. No word on who that actress might be, or when we will know the score, but just knowing this film is going to be out there in the world somewhere is great, great news.

Didn't he co-direct Mirrormask?

Sub-question: why have I still not seen Mirrormask... For shame.
