Past 3 and you start running into required items, so not quite as fast. Then again, who am I to question the robot? Also, that was the first time I've seen the video... I wanna slap myself silly for killing Ropes for a key.

The current record time for the Legend of Zelda right now, with warping, is 34:04. It's stood for quite a while.
Or if he just casually attempted it one day for shits and giggles. Records have a way of dying when he sneezes in their direction, I've noticed.

I haven't seen the Zelda speed run in a while, but it's probably very impressive. For anyone to top some of the tougher speed runs takes at least dozens of hours of planning and practice. I still want to attempt an official speed run some day, but I'm not sure of what. Plus, I need to get the console, cartridges, and something to record with. Not to mention I'll have to get used to using the original controller. I'll just stick to my own personal challenges on emulators for now.

I saw a guy doing a live three-heart run at MAGFest. It was infuriating watching him go in and out of a room dozens of times just because he didn't like where the Wizzrobes spawned.

Anyway, despite all on your channel it bugs me that this may be your legacy. The flawless Mega Man 3 and perfect Ninja Gaiden run are crazy and a lot harder than Super Mario Brothers.
