Screw the Titanic, they should make a movie about the Hindenburg disaster.

And then Rose can hog a conveniently placed hot air balloon, while Jack craters in the ground, blood everywhere... You know what, I'd watch the hell out of it.

With all the vs movies they've had in the last ten years, I want to make Titanic vs Hindenburg.

I brought two of my friends that had seen it last when they were really young. They both came out of the movie theater proclaiming that they had just seen their new favorite movie.
So I thought it was worthwhile. And the 3D wasn't all that obtrusive, either. It was very subtle and well done.

So I'm not even going to pretend I'm ashamed to ask this, as I'm sure it's on the minds of many others: does it still have the naked Kate Winslet scene in the 3D version?

probably the only scene worth the price of admission.
honestly, the movie wasnt that bad, but it shouldnt be ranked as one of the best movies ever.
i havent seen the 3D version, so i dont know how that was handled

If I really wanted to see the Titanic in 3D I would go back in time and set up a front row seat on the iceberg that took it out.

I knew she was naked but i was nearly certain that when i saw it, it was censored. It was a 12 when i saw it in the cinema years ago so i really doubted that her tit would be hanging out lol.
It's 12a now (didn't have that stupid 12a shit back in the day). What the fuck? lol
I googled it and saw the uncensored but seriously what? Was it shown in US uncensored or did you see it on dvd or something?
Hell i have it on vhs somewhere and it's still defo censored there too!

It was uncensored in the theaters in the States. I know that Cameron did release two versions on DVD--one with the nudity, and one without. He eliminated the nude scene for parents who wanted to let their kids watch hundreds upon hundreds of people freeze to death but knew that if their kids saw nipples they would be scarred for life.
They censor movies in the theater in the UK? lol why?

To make this clear. The scene isn't censored per se.
The scene is just cut. Not all the scene. Di Caprio is still there sketching her etc. but there is no shot of her sprawled out on the couch naked.
The extent to which is show is this:
Weirdly though i think the sketch is still fully shown. So you can have a drawing of her tits but not her actual tits lol.
So i imagine just like the Malaysians there is no 3d boobies here either. That is all you will see - above.

Been there, done THAT. Errr, but that's got nothing to do with Titanic 3D
The movie wasn't censored here in Brazil. the old one, I mean, haven't seen the 3D version. Nor do I want too.
It's funny how titanic jokes came back to the internet full force after this "revival", though. Stupid kids, not being born when I was born! I was making these jokes before they were... ugh.

I remember watching it as a kid. I also remember it coming on two VHS cassettes because it was so fucking long. I definitely have no interest in sitting through it again just because it is in 3D, especially after hearing my roommates watching the original version of it on HBO a few weeks back. Just hearing that awful Celine Dion song again is enough to put me off it for at least 10 more years.

I don't know, but my mom had a copy and it was two VHS tapes. I only remember it because it was kind of weird, being the only two cassette movie she owned and I'd only rented one or two other two cassette movies before. It just kind of stood out.
