* Two new classes: Dark Knight (power set akin to Gafgarion) and Onion Knight (from FF3, no skills but a boatload of HP, give him a low Faith and you've got a real tank on your hands.)
* Cameos from other games: Balthier from FF XII and Luso from FFT A2.
* A wireless multiplayer mode, both for co-op and versus play. In versus, opposing teams may place traps into the battlefield, and these traps will be hidden from the opponent's view. To ease identification and avoid players from attacking their own party members, teams are assigned colors of either red and blue. The battle ends after a set number of rounds, of which the team with the most remaining HP is the winner. The winner may then receive an item randomly generated from treasure chests, giving the winner a chance to get rare items not received during normal gameplay.
* New items and equipment (mostly for the new classes).
* New battles. One has you playing as Delita after he's captured the princess (it takes place prior to the first Zodiac Beast battle).
* Cutscenes rendered using cel-shading and full English voicing.
It's due for release in October this year.
