Can we get to the subject at hand here? One, Leon and Chris are making their fourth and fifth, respectively, appearances as playable characters, and it's the third consecutive game for the latter. Two, Leon was forced to blow Ashley's Dad's--the PRESIDENT'S--brains out. Three, was that Ashley Leon was with? Four, this game introduces the required minimum one new playable character. Five, the Zombies really seem to have gotten their shit together. Six, barring the REmake, the Outbreak titles and all the rehashes, this installment is actually twice that number.

Yeah but seriously it looks like a real sequel to RE4, not the boring slopped together bunch of mercenaries missions that 5 was.

OMG that would be so awesome! Also, Dracula should bite the infected Hitler and drink his contaminated blood, turning Dracula into a Super Vampire. Then he'll team up with Hitler/Wesker.

Well Capcom is doing Street Fighter X Tekken, maybe this is Resident Evil X Castlevania. I'm pretty sure the third guy in the trailer was Simon Belmont.

Fuck this fucking fucking bromance shit. Leon is super overrated and no one has ever given a shit about Chris. Resident Evil has always been about tits. If you think otherwise, you're a fucking retard. It's fucking Tomb Raider with zombies. How about giving me Jill and Claire as the two playable characters? Or at the very least, Jill and Barry. I demand a canon game where Barry is playable. No more boring Chris/Leon drama.

The new character is probably an imperfect Wesker clone or some predictable bullshit like that.

Though I haven't touched any of the games in six years, I've given a shit about all playable characters for the simple reason that they were playable. I don't think much about supporting characters, but once I'm in control of them...well, let's just say I'm still waiting on Wesker's hypothesis from the end of Code: Veronica to pass.

The Negative: Mikami is gone. RE is dead (not undead). Capcom is simply beating its corpse.

The Positive: the sliding to immediate 180 degree turn and shooting was pretty fucking sick though. (2:51-2:54). (Basically taking Shadows of the Damned gundrawn quick turn with Vanquish sliding). However, the application use of this is fairly limited as it is suicidal in RE4 to have anyone behind you when attacking enemies in front of you (sandwich). In the video you see the player doing this maneuver which turns his back to enemies. This will get you killed.

Holy shit, this looks badass! I guess they took cues from the Batman and uncharted games. Capcom is the second greatest developer ever and I knew they would bring RE back in the best way possible.

Zombies are back? Now that is what I want from my Resident Evil! Might actually enjoy this one, instead of returning it the day after I buy it like I did with RE5.

So the rumor mill is grinding a theory that the Timberlake-with-a-gym-membership guy is HUNK. I seriously don't know what the obsession with the guy is. I guess having a mysterious character next to a list of characters whose backgrounds are stuffed with non-canon material, ridiculous material, or plot hole-ridden histories is a breath of fresh air.

I thought the character could possibly be HUNK, but then I remembered that Capcom doesn't like to give any closure to storylines.
