People always use to tell me that Firefox was way better than IE, and for awhile I bought. But over the last several updates, I've noticed something. It isn't.
Firefox is a massive resource hog possibly with a memory sink. Whereas IE consistently uses around 80,000 K of memory, Firefox starts off at around 100,000 K and will slowly creep up to 143,000 K or more at which point it will cause horribly slowdown problems on my computer. Why do people like this piece of shit?

Ha! But doesn't that actually prove my point further? The big complaint about Microsoft software has ALWAYS been that it's like a fucking Hummer: large, inefficient, and filled with a ton of unnecessary shit that make people with small genitals feel better about themselves.
For Firefox to be better than IE, objectively it should be leaner, more efficient, and not filled with bullshit that normal people don't care about. If it is none of those things, how is it better?
And while Firefox is OBNOXIOUSLY inefficient on my computer, it's still inefficient on every other computer as well.
This isn't fucking Crysis. This is a web browser.

Plus, the last update made Chatzilla incompatible so that sucks. I have Chrome but I'm lazy and stick with Firefox anyways...

Firefox has a handful of seriously great add-ons. That's why I dig it.

I use Chrome too. Firefox was okay, certainly better than that steaming pile of shit called Internet Explorer. Tried using IE after installing Vista back before Vista was known to be a piece of shit and IE would freeze up constantly. Took me three tries to get to the Firefox webpage and get it downloaded before IE froze and I've never looked back. Chrome doesn't have a memory leak though and it has the only addon I used from Firefox in Adblock. Plus it has the snazzy little homepage with your 8 most common webpages visited, making it superior in my opinion.

Firefox is pretty good in my opinion. IE always apes its design changes. There's the adblocking which is so good that it's sometimes too aggressive, it has a better interface, and it isn't as susceptible to hackers.
I'm sure GF will come on eventually with a better defense of it, as my knowledge of detailed computer stuff is limited.

You need to go to the title screen, which is right next to your SD card.

Did you have ChatZilla before you upgraded to 9.0.1? If you did, you should not have to download ChatZilla gain. I didn't have to.

Personally, since I have a good computer, the heavy memory usage of Firefox was hardly an issue most of the time. Although one time I did have it suck up around 1GB of RAM due to a bad plugin.
If Firefox's memory usage bothers you, use Chrome. It's very lean and fast, and as with almost all browsers (excluding IE) it is leaps and bounds ahead of IE.

No, I didn't. This is a new computer so I had to download Firefox from its site and when I tried to download Chatzilla, it said it wasn't compatible. It doesn't matter now, because I've switched to Chrome.

I agree that firefox is a memory hogging piece of shit. I just use it because I like to be able to disable javascript, and use addblock.

My wife has small genitals, and she uses Firefox.

I use Firefox if I'm watching ad-heavy videos, and I don't feel like wading through Chrome's shitty archiving tool.
