My brother claims that when he turns his head sideways he can read sideways text as though it were normal, and normal text looks sideways.
My perspective doesn't change when I tilt my head. So either I have gyroscopes in my head or Jeebus is trying to gaslight me.

Looks the same to me too. I don't really have a problem reading upside down though either.

I believe the brain compensates for tilting your head the same way it compensates for your line of sight moving up and down when you walk. If just tilting your head is not working, try closing your eyes for a few seconds, that might do the trick

While sideways, I can read regular text, but sideways text also becomes readable.

Well, the conversation started on Thanksgiving.
My aunt was complaining that she didn't know what a colon and a P meant on Facebook and Jeebus said it was a face giving the raspberry, and that whenever you saw characters you didn't understand on Facebook, to turn your head sideways.
And then I was like, you know that doesn't actually work, right?
And he kept insisting that it did. It doesn't work for me, but I don't need it to. I can conceptualize what sideways text would look without changing my perspective... BECAUSE I'M NOT FUCKING RETARDED.

Maybe this means you're a cat person or something, and you can always land on your feet.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind. |

This.
I also don't have a problem reading backwards text, 1337 or sentences/paragraphs where the letters of the words are jumbled up, such as...

I can read Satire's post fine normally, but if it were a long paragraph, I would read it faster with my head tilted.

When would that realistically ever happen?

I can go about 40 degrees both ways while standing upright. It looks very different and I would not want to have to adjust my daily routines for this new perspective.
