This song reminds me a lot of Castlevania.

So I started playing Gargoyle's Quest on Game Boy the other day, and as soon as I heard the overworld theme I found it...striking. I mean, there's only two "instruments" playing and yet it just sounds so solemn and profound. I'd really like to hear a version of it done with a violin playing the main melody and a cello playing the bass part.

Tears For Fears have been my absolute favorite band for the last 3 months. I saw them play on Sept 16th and it was a fantastic show. I've always liked their music but only recently has it been so profound for me. It's funny how some music you've heard all your life suddenly becomes completely amazing in the right context. This song especially.

Huge Tears for Fears fan here. They were just something that was always playing in the background growing up watching Night Tracks or playing Mega Man with my uncle, and I later sought out their albums and grew to love them. I always associate this kind of music with that era, and it was probably the best time of my life.

Lots of Parliament/Funkadelic/Parliament Funkadelic.
I've also been on an Advance Wars kick lately. I love the music but I'm absolutely terrible at the games.

been on a Melvins kick last couple of days. These guys do not get the credit they deserve for the influence they have had on other bands imo.
