Well, because my NVIDIA GPU drivers were very outdated (from 2009), and I couldn't change my screen brightness, or use WebGL, so I decided to update them to the latest drivers for my video card (NVIDIA GeForce GT 130M)

After I installed them and restarted, Windows used a lower screen resolution, and I couldn't switch to my laptop's Intel GPU (This laptop uses Hybrid SLI). When I attempted to open the NVIDIA control panel, this popped up:



Obviously, I want to know how to fix this, and if possible, turn off Hybrid SLI, since it is pointless, and seems to not work well with any OS other than Vista, and fuck Vista. (I currently use Windows 7)

I am aware about that, but the Nvidia sticker on the laptop says it has a GeForce GT 130M.

I'll reinstall the old drivers once I get the chance, and will post how that went.

Okay, after a ridiculously long download, I have downloaded and installed the old drivers on the Acer website. I can now use 3D graphics, but still can't change my screen brightness. Now what?

Yes. Actually, I used to get a brigtness slider in the Power Options window (that did nothing when changed), but that has been gone since I upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
