Hey, guys, I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Halloween. I decided to make a thread dedicated to uploading our custom pumpkins on SydLexia:

My daughter is dressing up like a Cow and I'm eating all the candy she gets because she's only 1. She can eat pudding, I'll eat the Snickers.

Lucky you. Then again, it's just as fun to give out candy.

Hm. I have no pumpkin, but it wouldn't be Halloween without this classic:

This year's Halloween is ruined for me because of the super-early snowstorm we had that caused tree branches, weighed heavily by snow and leaves, to fall and snap power lines and destroy power to many homes all over town, including mine (right now, I'm using public wifi so I at least have internet, but it sucks) Plus, it's freezing cold right now at 4AM and will probably be cold Halloween night as well...
I'm not looking forward to this year's Halloween...

We don't celebrate Halloween here, but I shall buy buttloads of candy to honor the event!

Happy Halloween!
A friend posted this on Facebook. I think everyone is entitled to their opinion and beliefs, but do you really need to piss on everyone elses day?
Quote:
Its sad to see so many people saying "Happy Halloween" on faceboook! It does not have even one single redeeming virtue. It is custom born out of pagan superstition. It is a demon-inspired, devil-glorifying, occult festival. It is an evening holy unto evil, death, and divination. "Avoid every kind of evil." 1Thess. 5:22

That made me laugh, because when I was 11 or 12 years old I was Zombie Jesus for Halloween and one of the houses I went to had a family who was having a prayer session with friends and they were absolutely horrified when they opened the door and saw me. They then read me some passage from the bible and gave me a comic book with some religious story. I laugh every time I remember the looks on those peoples' faces.
