We are fucked here in CT. Our trees still have green leaves and aren't able to shed the weight of the snow. They are collapsing and breaking. Some of our major highways have shut down and we are expected to get a lot more.

It has been a little chilly here in Illinois but no snow. Had some rain last night but if it starts snowing this early in the year here I'm going to be upset. I can't recall it ever snowing much before mid-November here and if it did it never stuck around for long, usually it just gets cold with high winds until December when the snow really starts hitting and sticking.

Yeah, I have snow over here in NJ. Too fuckin' early this snow... Most of our trees haven't shed their leaves yet so the snow just accumulated on top of them adding lots of weight enough to cause lots of branches to fall off and down power lines...
I'm actually staying somewhere else tonight; the usual place I sleep in has no power ATM >_<

The snow knocked out my power twice, knocked down a tree in my backyard, and knocked out my cable/Internet, which is making it a lot more difficult to get the research finished I need to finish for the article I'm working on. Worst case scenario, I'll have a Halloween article up by the end of Tuesday.
