Are you going? I'm not because I don't like too many of those bands, but it would be cool to see Lordi. Or, I could see the REAL costumed band and see GWAR somewhere else this summer!

I'm going to try, primarily because of Lordi & Ozzy, and also it's free.
I'd love to see GWAR live, but it's hard to call them the "real" costume band when KISS was doing it 20 years before them.

Yes, but did Kiss do stuff like slay giant dinosaurs on stage, decapitate giant puppets, rip fetuses out of stomachs, etc? hehehe, thats what I meant. Green Jello was another one. I know Lordi isn't a ripoff of GWAR but I have too many dumb kids around me comparing them and saying Lordi is better. Never!

Nah, Alice Cooper did though, but not quite at that level of awesomeness. He stuck to stuff like cutting his head off with a guillotine and stabbing baby dolls with a sword.
And comparing Lordi to GWAR is dumb. Both musically and theatrically, they are way more like KISS than GWAR. Or maybe WASP.

Ooh, how could I forget Alice Cooper! Very awesome. I love bands like that, GWAR, Green Jello, Mr. Bungle, etc!
There was also the band Coven That dressed all scary and even held a black mass, even before stuff like Black Sabbath etc exisited, King Diamond etc!
(Sorry for derailing thread!)

I'm gonna go just to see Behemoth. I hope Nile will be at show I attend as well. I saw both Behemoth and Nile with King Diamond a couple summers ago and they ANNIHILATED! I really have no interest in any of the other bands. Although Ozzy's always entertaining, even after seeing him a dozen times already! \m/
Oh and I hope In This Moment is there, not because I want to see them (because they are god awful) but that just means I have a .000009% chance of nailing their lead singer.

That picture almost makes her look like her tattooed right arm ends in a gigantic left hand.
...Still, I'd tap that.
