Dracula will finally be getting a sequel. No, not the Francis Ford Coppola disaster, nor the Christopher Lee or Frank Langella vampyre classics. The actual novel Dracula, as written by Bram Stoker, will be getting an officially-sanctioned sequel called The Un-Dead, and the film version will be directed by Ernest Dickerson (Bones).
The plot of The Un-Dead is unknown, but we do know that it has something to do with events that transpire 25 years after the original story, will contain some original material that Stoker left out of the original book, and has something to do with Jack The Ripper. Uh...damn! The new novel is being written by Stoker's great-grand-nephew Dacre Stoker.
It's nice to have family in the biz.
