But here's another event to add to the list of why I have to quit drinking for GOOD.

I just feel so... embarrassed... but I've gotta apologize and don't worry, I won't be showing my face around for a while... hopefully by the time I wander back Syd will have a new article up...

Hmmm.. I can't just run away and blame my alcoholism. I must be held accountable for what I've said, cause there are grains of my honest opinion in there, garnished heavily with drunken sidetracking/backtracking/etc... Re-reading my posts, the last few I don't even remember, I myself disagree with a lot of what I said. But here goes, a simple concise form what I was trying to say.

On the topic of the internet.
The internet is way to big to be policed it seems. Eventually they are going to grab hold of it, and it's going to be edited/politically correct/biased/etc or it just won't be aloud to be there... like so much of television programming is and it won't be as 'free' as it is now and I really don't like that idea.

On the topic of copyright infiringemet.
I have a blanket answer for this, like it or lump it. Porno is the most widely and easily pirated media, yet at the same time porno is the most widely and easily profitable media.

On the topic of Capitalism/Socialism/Communism.
I've lived my whole life in a capitalist world. I have no experience with the others. I do know I see a great many things wrong with Capitalism, and I believe the others deserve fair trial, however they have been used and still are today, but are generally looked down upon by those outside and inside them, so who am I to say whats better until I've experienced them...
But my biggest gripe with Capitalism is it supports greed. There's only so much wealth to go around, why does anyone want to take so much of a resource that it's going to leave others with little or none?
As for the Hitler reference, I have no clue what Adolf's 'ideas' were, as of this exact date in history I don't think ANYONE knows what his ideas were, we only what actions he took. That should read COMMUNISM has a lot of good ideas. Hitler is a drunk word I like to throw around because it gets peoples tempers up.

On the topic of 'I'm gonna take a jab at myself'.
I had to laugh actually when I read my comeback to a post of someone giving away my recipes for free, and I said at least hungry people would be fed... ummm... hungry people need food, not recipes.

On the topic of 'I tend to take Hitler's Side in things'.
I just can't help but root for the underdog, so who better than Hitler...
He may have tried to annihilate the Jewish people, but in the end he didn't, people stepped in and stopped him.... but ancestry of North America is people who killed most of the indigenous people and took their land, and NO ONE tried to stop them. Yet it's the (self-proclaimed) greatest country/society the world has seen. Talk about a double standard.
If there were as many Indians left as there were Jews with horror stories and films reels and photographs of what happened to them, American money might not have the same faces it has now, unfortunately there are very few Natives left and their word isn't worth beans cause they are just too much of a minority... and WHY are they a minority again? If Hitler had done what he done back when their weren't Newspapers/TV/Media in general like in his day, he would be just another historical figure like Julius Caeser or Attila the Hun. Not saying that it reduces the awfulness of what he did, but I doubt there will be a Hitler Salad anytime soon. Or like when they made the TMNT toy Genghis Frog... I doubt a mutant camel called Adolf Spitler would have been giving the green light... even if he was on Shredder's side.
