This. Extra crispy, with biscuit and mashed potatoes.
Oh my god now I want some.

Remember how you were trying to cut fast food out of your meals?

I said I WANT some. Not that I'm gonna go GET it. Even if I do occasionally succumb, KFC is one I try to stay away from, both health-wise and because of their chicken-keeping practices.
Dear god, those poor abused, debeaked chickens are delicious though.

KFC gives me the runs.
Popeye's gives me the turbo-charged jets, though, so there is that.
I've pretty much sworn off all fast food fried chicken, though.
When I lived in Brooklyn I used to go to Kennedy Fried Chicken all the time. They had awesome chicken and pretty good pizza as well as other awesome foodstuffs. And they were open all the time and run buy guys from Afghanistan. Ah, memories.

I like Popeye's better. KFC feels like 10% meat, 60% bone, and 30% skin.
This is of course negated by the fact that I have a friend with a deep fryer, and a recipe for awesome buttermilk frying mix
So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

Honestly makes it sound better your way for some reason.

I am a fan a Crown Fried Chicken, which is found in all of the greatest hoods of the east coast, and yes my town, Harrisburg has one, deep in the hood with a gun shot detection microphone on the telephone pole outside, nice

KFC. I haven't ever even SEEN a Popeye's, just the commercials. Besides, I have a strong moral objection to Popeye's. Last time I checked, Popeye was a sailorman, and not a fat sassy black lady rambling on incoherently about Louisiana and chicken.
who here likes Mary Brown's? Best legs in town.
That's my fave fried chicken. tho I actually don't eat the legs... just a catchy slogan...

Supposedly it was named after a character in the movie "The French Connection", though I would call BS on that. They did acquire the marketing rights to Popeye for a while.
There used to be one in Leominster, MA a while ago but it's gone now. The only ones I've seen since are at rest areas in New Hampshire and Maine.
I like Popeye's chicken better than KFC's but KFC has the superior sides. Those mashed potatoes and gravy are worth the crappy chicken in my opinion, and I tend to get two orders of mashed potatoes instead of getting a second side. If I were to get a second side, the mac and cheese is fucking excellent too for fast food.
I rarely go out for fast food chicken though because that shit is super overpriced when there are sit down restaurants in my town that do all you can eat fried chicken for 5-7 dollars, depending on the place you go, and the food is so much better there.

We do not have any, well anywhere near me, but if ever in an area that does, usually Virginia on south, Church's Fried Chicken is always great, so crisp, the right grease quotient

I love Church's. There is one right outside my subdivision. My wife and I walk there for dinner every so often.
