So NBC has given the Black Donnellys what is currently Studio 60's timeslot and TV.com currently lists Studio 60's status as TBD. Thus, I hope the Black Donnellys fails and all the actors involved in it die.
It looks dumb anyway.

The show looks like it'd make a passable movie, but it doesn't seem possible to stretch out into a series. Last episode of Studio 60 was great too (after what I thought was a terrible previous episode) so I was really looking forward to more of it.

It's not a proper analogy, but for some reason "Boondock Saints: the Series" comes to mind every time I see the promo for it.

I was going to apply for a job as a writer's assitant on the show, but never got around to actually submitting
I don't really care whether it succeeds or fails. If I were working on it though, I'd have to kill you first, Syd, before your curse killed me

Studio 60 On the Sunset Strip will be back to play out its first-season string in May, the day after sweeps ends. The long-debated NBC drama will return to air the final episodes of the first season, which most people believe will be the last of the series. Since, however, both The Black Donnellys and The Real Wedding Crashers, which have inhabited the timeslot that Studio 60 vacated in February, have bombed, it's not out of the question that the show might get another season to prove itself.

The Real Wedding Crashers is the gayest show ever for two reasons:
1. In the movie, the wedding crashers were two guys who went to weddings they weren't invited to and tried to blend with everyone else so that they could pick up girls. And while a reality show about guys who actually do that might be interesting, that's not what the show is about. No, the show is about paid actors who pull off elaborate pranks at weddings.
2. There's no actual wedding crashing involved. The bride and groom are always in on it.

It is becoming the place where television goes to die. Monday night at 10PM, on NBC. The death spot. It's claimed another victim. The Real Wedding Crashers, which was an abysmal excuse for a television show, has met its demise. And not a moment too soon. After three airings, it's dead in the water, following Studio 60 and The Black Donnellys down the rabbit hole of failure.
"On a side note, I personally know a couple who got married as part of the show. When the wedding was over and the producers of the show revealed the hoax, the guests were escorted out of the wedding, and there was no reception. Isn't that delightful? Then, the groom's mother stood up at the ceremony and said that they'd ruined their lives by mortgaging their wedding day just to get on television. What a hoot!" - Kevin Pereira
