I don't even know what to say... video games have helped to fight against AIDS.

This is amazing:

The game itself:

I have not played it, however I think I might give it a try to just see what it is all about. Not Sure, if we get you going on this we might have an overpopulation problem.

Isn't this what that project dedicating like 3% of your PS3's hard drive to researching such diseases was for?

That was Folding@home(mainpage ps3faq), which isn't interactive, unlike Fold.It

I punched a guy with cancer once, but that was as close as I got to fighting disease.

This reminds me of this one movie I saw a little bit of a long time ago that involved the NSA putting a problem they couldn't solve in a high-level puzzle workbook. Some autistic kid solved it and the rest of the movie involved the government kidnapping him before the terrorists could. Does anyone know what movie that was?

Yeah, I saw that after reading a lot about similar projects. It's interesting how since so many projects require man hours that they either cannot afford or are not sure can be filled by certain individuals, they have resorted to "volunteers" like this. It's one of those things you hear that suddenly makes you feel good about the world.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.
