I hope everyone is OK who got hurt. (I believe 3 people had minor injuries and 1 was critical). Luckily the place is across the street from a hospital.

Hopefully everyone makes a speedy recovery. Pretty interesting with the bit about the two parole officers not being in their usual seat at the time it happened - I can just imagine 'em rambling on about divine intervention.

I've heard this is pretty common due to fast food places being placed near high traffic areas. We had an Arby's get demolished a while back in the same way.

The death of a Taco Bell is always a sad event.
On a slightly related note, I was in a 7-11 a few years back and some guy in a truck drove through the front. I came about 3 inches from having a steel pole driven through my skull. They only closed for a few hours to clean up the mess and put some boards over the windows the guy drove through and then opened back up. There was a pretty decent sized chunk of the store without shelves, lol. That was an interesting day.

several years ago, the tattoo shop where i got my tats had a car go thru one of the walls. luckily no one got hurt.
also, taco bell has the cheapest lunch specials. you get the $2 deal & then buy whatever they have on special for $.99 & you have a full lunch. which is great, cuz i only have $3.90 til payday tomorrow. thank god for direct deposit
