Man what's with all the penis-removal stories lately  Found here.

I feel like the only time a doctor should perform "emergency" surgery while the patient is unconscious and without their consent is to save their life. Cancer of the penis, while certainly sucky, probably was not going to kill this man in the next 30 minutes. Probably not even in the next week. Having your penis just amputated without seeking out every alternative beforehand is kind of... extreme.

I almost hate the fact that we have such immediate and large access to crazy stories like this.
I guess if I ever go under the knife I'll have to make sure that I specify ahead of time, don't chop of my dick if it has cancer, we'll do that another time!
Honestly, what if the guy wanted to have sex one more time, pee one more time, or just take a picture before it was gone? The choice should have been his to make.
