Germany vs. Facebook: Like Button Declared Illegal, Sites Threatened With Fine
German websites based in the state of Schleswig-Holstein have until the end of September to remove Facebook‘s ‘like’ button or face a fine of up to 50,000 Euro.
Holy crap? I read the article, I still don't understand why someone could think the Like button is worthy of a 50,000 Euro fine. If the guy really hates it, go to the government and use DNS to shut it down... just expect a backlash as you rip freedom away from your citizens.

For one, if you don't have a Facebook account you aren't clicking the "like" buttons, secondly, this guy looks like he was about 70 when the internet hit the public streets. Go back under your rock.
