I enjoyed the first 3. I am pissed this will be in 3D. I am curious to know where Michael is as well... Also, how the fuck did she get caught?

If you haven't see the series, the first two movies take place in modern times, the third is 900 years in the past and is a prequel. This 4th installment appears to be a decade after the 2nd movie.

The series is worth watching. The first movie being the best by a fairly large margin.

I can see the appeal of the franchise for some people, but my opinion is as follows:

The shit is too dark. Like literally, I couldn't ever see what the fuck was going on because everything was dark as shit all the time. Another awful thing is the lack of any characters you give a shit about and terrible actresses/actors to play them. I won't call people who like the movies "stupid" or anything like that because they aren't, it's just not my cup of tea. I refer to them as "those Matrix Vampire movies where you can't see what's going on."

I enjoyed the first 3 movies, in fact I have them all on DVD. As they've decided to take up 3D I can't see myself watching this movie. In fact I expect the story to be complete shit because that is how it goes with 3D movies in my experience. Add 3D? Remove the story!

After my GF made me watch Twilight New Moon I made her watch Underworld, explaining that it was the same basic story concept, but for guys instead of chicks, hence the bullets and explosions.
