I don't know about anyone else, but I thought it was pretty cool to watch.

Wow, that was really cool. The actual video game ads were fun and creative, and it was nice to hear the soundbytes-- albiet as limited as soundbytes are-- on game design.
I also got a sudden chill when I remembered that this was just a couple years before the Great Crash. It helps put that optimism in check-- gives a kind of historical perspective after the fact.
Thanks for sharing this.

I want to know how those cowboys had a functioning Atari outside of the front porch of that ranch, with no visible cords or electricity sources. What, was it running on the campfire?

That was awesome!
New drinking game: every time they say "pushing back the creative boundaries," take a shot.

ICE HOCKEY! FROM ACTIVISION!
Good lord... What an advertisment. They should plug video games now like that. "COOKING MAMA COOK OFF! FOR WII!" And then cooking mama roars in primal rage as she breaks eggs into an omelette pan. Then a customer pushes a best buy blueshirt into the rack of games, foaming at the mouth...
Cheers,
Andrew
