And with that magazine you can set it upright on the nightstand facing the door and if you hear something, just reach over and pull the trigger.

Carelessness. I care that less about you that you give up on fighting me.

That's a great way to shoot a loved one when they come in the room to give you a glass of water or ask you a question.

I was being sarcastic, I suppose I should have said it's a great choice of ammo in case you accidentally shoot a loved one.

My choice for close-quarters? A trench spike. Even if I'm not at the right position to stab the intruder, I could fracture or fully break his jaw with the knuckles.
If I was on the roof and saw him coming, I'd pick him off with a revolving rifle.

I have a baseball bat with an iron chain wrapped around it. I crush grizzley bear skulls and fuck up my neighbours with it.

The dude at the mall I bought my combat toothpick from sells modern trench spikes that are basically a bowie knife with a brass knuckle handle, not sure how he can because I was under the impression they were illegal.

Late to this party, but all I have is a chainsaw in the garage and a M9 Beretta in my bedroom drawer. I like the M9 for comfort as it is what I used in the Marines, so I know the weight and how it is to fire under stress. For me, comfort is essential when double tapping looters and zombies.

A hand-made Honduran Machete, a bowie knife, or a cutlass. All within 5 feet's length from me in my room.

I have a 12 Gauge Shotgun, a .22 Rifle, and my wife has a .25 Pistol.
I also have a Kevlar Vest and Helmet with the Ceramic Plates.
Also, makes me think of this. Apologize if it has already been referenced.

I'm looking to get a Glock 21 and a compound bow of some form. I'd like to learn to shoot a bow and do some bow hunting sometime, because we have a bow season for deer hunting around here.
Currently though between my father and myself we have a 9mm pistol, a .357 pistol, a .357 revolver, 3 .22 rifles, a 20 gauge, a 12 gauge, and an Egyptian MISR. Plus a couple of nice hunting/survival knives. My Dad is kinda on this whole "The world is going to erupt into anarchy at any minute" kick and he's been acquiring all sorts of weapons and stockpiling food and ammo. Personally I think it is a side effect of the strokes he's had but it seems a little crazy to me. Regardless that MISR is pretty cool, it is an Egyptian rip-off of an AKM I believe. Unfortunately it is only semi-auto but still pretty fun to fire.

First is of all, our legislation doesn't allow to protect your home with firearms. Wouldn't be necessary here anyway.
Anyway, if I really had to fight, I'd go with the Sako RK 62, because I'm familiar with it.

I'll stick with the pride of my collection, a coveted Zastava M93 Black Arrow. No Teflon, but it's not really necessary when I'm a quarter mile away from you.

Everyone who gets to know me tells me that I was "mean looking" and they thought they should stay on my good side before them got to know me. I don't understand what it's all about because I am always the nicest of guys and the first to give the shirt off my back, drive you to the store and buy you a knew shirt, then send you on your way.
Everyone who knows me really well knows I'm a fucking teddy bear, but they still tell me that I have some sort of leave me the fuck alone aura. It seems to match up, I can count all the fights I've been in on one hand. It's not that I'm big I'm barely 5,10, I'm not muscular at all, I always open the door for people and call everyone sir / maam, I'm super nice I don't get it.
Every time I come around a new group be it work or friends these rumors that I'm a skinhead or a gang member or a biker or whatever always get back to me. I keep my hair shaven close to the skull but I don't actually skin it, I've never been seen riding a bike, and I'm always the first to put my hands up in a whoa stop gesture and try to talk everything out peaceably if I'm involved in any sort of disagreement, even a mild one.
Still everyone tells me I look scary and mean. I don't get it, and it's kind of annoying because if I smile at someone or wave or nod or any of that friendly banter you toss back and forth in a social situation people almost always turn away and alter their course to avoid me.
So sort of that is my weapon of choice, people tend to not bother me.
