DISCLAIMER: I am unaware if this was already posted or not, I couldn't find a topic on it if there already has been.

I have been very excited to see this movie since I found out about it a couple months back and finally had the opportunity to sit down and watch this film in a dark, cold room with the lights off and the sound way up!

The film itself, was not bad but I did have fairly high expectations for it considering the somewhat glowing reviews it received. It was a very nice change of pace from the whole "gore-porn" style shock value that the horror industry has been deduced too as of late. It wasn't as scary as people made it out to be, but there were several disturbing scenes reminiscent of something out of "The Grudge".

The first half of the film was a nice, slow build up with gradual character development and plenty of goosebump inducing jump scares. It seemed to make itself out to be a typical haunted house movie in the likes of Amityville Horror however, a little more then half way through the film it begins to deal with more Sci-Fi elements in astral projection and a little hint of comic relief.

I do not want to spoil anything for anyone if they are interested in seeing this movie, but I will tell ya....it's not a bad little movie to pop in at night. I believe that it is most definitely one of the "better" horror movies that I've seen in quite sometime.

I recommend it to ANY horror movie buff.

I watched it and enjoyed most of it. The beginning had that classic haunted house movie feel, without relying on gore and blood. The end kinda wandered into the realm of silly though and turned me off a tad. Still, a solid 80 out of 100 from me.

Pretty sure Killer Elite was one of the street gangs mentioned in the graffiti database located in Parker Center in Police Quest 4. Confused

I'm a pretty big fan of horror movies but this one somehow slipped under my radar. I'll have to give it a shot when I get some time. You guys seemed to like it, and that's enough for me.
