I totally Googled "encounter suit" and Kosh was the first result, but I didn't guess it because it didn't look anything like the pictures of him.

Even though it's not, my first answer was someone from Krull. I still stand by my answer. Cool

Damn, there needs to be some more B5 fans in this forum, but I guess this means I win, right? Wink

I guess it goes to Douche since he was the first one to mention what show it's from.

Anyway, the character only appeared in the 4th season finale. He's actually a human from a million years in the future, at a point where humans have evolved into energy beings, just like the Vorlons, necessitating the encounter suit.

Here's a youtube of the relevant scene:

I'm guessing that would be the very end screen of Nekketsu Kouha: Kunio-kun Renegade for the NES.

I have the original game and I think it's a really close match. ^^

edit: And how you beat it is a question within itself.

That episode made me ball like a baby. Pathetic? Maybe. But true.

A lot of those B5 episodes put me on the borderline of doing that, man. Emotional stuff.

And with that, Syd takes the floor.

Good job. I played this game and just screenshotted it for some reason. I thought it didn't even have anything to do with the NES game until I compared that and it side by side.

Anyway, the (world?) is yours.

Hint #3: The game caused legal trouble for Taito.

No sir.

Bionic Commando was a Capcom game. Actually, it was two different Capcom games, but that's besides the point.

Research tells me that it is Rainbow Islands, but that picture doesn't make me think of Rainbow Islands at all.

Indeed, it is not Rainbow Islands.

Taito did get into brief trouble with Rainbow Islands because it used unauthorized samples of Over The Rainbow in its background music. Taito also got into copyright trouble over their game Jungle Hunt, which was originally called Jungle King and starred a Tarzanesque hero instead of the safari guy in the pith helmet.

Taito got into a different kind of legal trouble for the game featured in my screenshot though, one that has nothing to do with copyright infringement.
