We played Scott Pilgrim, River City Ransom, Monsters In My Pocket, TMNT3, Dudes, With Attitude, American Gladiators, Smash TV, Contra 3, Bust-A-Move, and Kirby's Dream Course. Also! I made CB four (I think) CamWiches, which he dined upon merrily.

Awesome!
I still think we need to hold some kind of SLF convention. I further think we should volunteer Syd to host it at his house.

For once, someone would have more distance to travel than I for such a thing.

I second the motion of a SLF convention! We'd all have to wear a hat with our forum names on it though.

I get to meet CB today though I don't know what we are going to do since I'm not at home and as such don't have anything but my laptop and a ps3 with a single controller at my Dad's currently. I guess I could set the laptop up to play some SNES with the 360 and ps3 controllers.
I still think we need to hold some kind of SLF convention.
I agree, but unfortunately just about anywhere it's likely to be held would require massive travel on my part.

CB was just here and is on his way to Chicago to meet other Sydlexians. It was pretty cool meeting him in person, even though we really only got to talk.
On the topic of some sort of large scale forum meet-up I'd probably never be able to go. Lack of funds and transportation would be a major problem for me.

A bus ticket is dirt cheap. If you can afford beer or going out to eat you can afford to travel pretty much anywhere in the US.

I think travel funds would stump a lot of us. That's why we need to buy moonside property so we can all live together and skip that problem all together.
More seriously, I can't help but wish this would actually happen.

Someone mentioned PAX East...I think showing up and representing there might be doable. I'd do it, and hell, someone can sleep on my couch.
I find your offer of couches enticing, and may decide to take you up on it should this occur, because that's probably the only way I'd reasonably get lodging at a price I can handle for PAX.

Where do they typically hold PAX East?
