Not going to lie, I just Rule 34 searched She-Hulk. though to be honest, if she was real I wouldn't mind getting crushed to death by her.

I hate to distract the thread from green-themed sex, but I saw the movie tonight and dug it. One of the more entertaining movies I've seen this year, actually. It really got the audience into it, too; good mix of humor and action.

I had my doubts about this one, as early pictures made it look really cheesy, but I wound up really liking the atmosphere of the movie. I wish they didn't have to lock him in ice so quickly, actually; I'd like to see another Captain America movie set in the 40's.

Well he didn't really do anything else in the 40's.

true. he just fought in WWII & that was it.

but im kind of w/Klim on this. they should try to establish his legend a bit more, that way its an even bigger event when he is discovered in ice.

I'm saying they shouldn't have had WWII end. Have him defeat Hydra and make that the end of the movie. They made it clear that Hydra and the Nazis were separate towards the end. He still needed to kick Hitler's ass.

I understand they really couldn't do this because they needed to get his ass packed in ice for the Avengers movie, I just think another story or two in the 40's could be cool.

One of the friends I saw Cap with turned to me around the part where Cap's in Stark's plane and asked "Isn't Wolverine supposed to be on the plane, too?"

I know X-Men Evolution had a flashback ep of Wolverine teaming up with Cap, but I'm not sure how canon that is.

Saw it yesterday, pretty good overall. The Hydra Salute is the dumbest thing I've ever seen, cracked me up every time.

I kind of like the whole frozen in ice angle, seems like a neat way for Marvel to revive an old character.

How did they do the effects with skinny cap and hulked out cap? Did they have a skinny kid do the shots with green screen / motion capture shit all over his head and copy paste the actor's face on?

I would ignore much of X-men Evolution, for any of the cannon material. It was a nice little off shoot but the 90's X-Men was more related.

They used CG to shrink his natural body down to the 98 pound weakling one.

Well they did a good job of it, I usually sit and try to deconstruct movies but this one was pretty enjoyable and I can't recall any jarring TOTALLY FAKE fx moments.

As much as I like the character, I seriously doubt it.
As for Hank Pym, I think the character is dead in Ultimates, I know Janet is. As for the movie, I'd heard rumors that Pixar would be handling it.

Edit: correction

The Shaun of the dead guy is directing it. Which is to say Edgar Wright.

While I was watching the movie, I couldn't help but notice at least two probably unconcious callbacks to Honey, I Shrunk The Kids. More severe, since the people involved actually died, but less infuriating because they weren't children.

There were four of them. Also, that guy who got shredded by the propeller.

For those who don't know or realize, both movies were directed by the same person.

bumping for america!

I watched it yesterday and really liked it. The actors were good, the humor worked and the action was alright too.
What made to the movie kinda fresh too me was that it played in the 1940's, i really liked that.
That the movie pointed towards the end in to the direction of the Avangers movie was cool and got my a little hyped. I really have no complaints.
If you like comic movies, watch it!

it was the best of times
it was the blurst of times

I am pretty sure that is cannon. The 90's series has an episode where Wolvie teams up with Cap during WWII for a secret mission.
