I saw Poison and Motley Crue on Tuesday. It was a great show. My sister had only seen bands like MCR, the Killers, and Gym Class Heroes live, so she was blown away by the showmanship.

Well, she saw The Wall with us too, but this was a much more energetic experience. The Wall is pretty somber.

I saw this same show when they played at the Red Rock Casino here in Vegas about a month ago. I had never seen either live, nor would I consider myself a fan, but it was really, really entertaining. Tommy Lee playing the drums on that huge circle thing was awesome. He was hilarious the entire show.

Aren't MCR one of those bands that bounce around the stage with no rhyme or reason and call that a show?

Not saying that there's anything wrong with that, but I'd like to think that's way more of an entertaining show to young people than what Poison and Crue do.

There are a lot of what if's in life Donny. What if I hit you really hard in the face, knocked yo shit to the back of yo skull? What if I....had you girl gargle my nuts? The fact remains, you are a fuckin mutant.

Poison and Crue run around, encourage you to raise your fist and yell, and stuff explodes. And Tommy Lee drums upside down. Who doesn't like that? That shit is fucking amazing.

I wanted to see this show when it came to Philly (Camden), but didn't get the chance. A local radio show was giving away a ticket to ride Tommy Lee's drum roller coaster with him during the show.

I saw a similar show with Poison, Vince Neil, Quiet Riot, and Warrant back in '02. I thought the performances were great. P.S. I have never seen so many breast implants before or since.

This is also the only show I've ever been where a band asked the audience to briefly sit down because it was "time for church".
