I highly doubt it, but does anyone have this? I've been trying to torrent it since I found out there was one. Demonoid had the main hosting duties, but I'm not a member so I had to use a bootleg torrent link from another site. However, I see that Demonoid doesn't have seeders at this time either.

Just so this thread isn't entirely dedicated to asking how I can illegally download an unreleased television pilot, I'd like to mention that this was the 86 minute network cut that ABC shot down. In it were a few more scenes that weren't reused for the feature, because they only set up potential series arcs. Now, the original pilot Lynch shot was well over two hours, he had to fly through editing to cut it down to a manageable length. He wasn't happy with this cut the way George Lucas wasn't happy with the Star Wars Christmas special. But Lynch got his version of the movie when he shot 40 extra minutes to turn it into the Academy Award nominated best picture it was.

Nonetheless, the filmmaker and screenwriter in me is desperately interested in seeing this "earlier" version. Any leads you can give me would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I agree with the lesbian scene theory. Two, I can work the "go to" time feature on my remote. Three, Blue Velvet and FWWM both had chapters, so I'm good. Four, said DVDs are awesome.

There's a few differences between the TV pilot and the film. There's a different ending for one. The pilot ends with Howard Saint's wife putting on a blonde wig and looking over Hollywood with Watts. I also know there was a character who was the director's Zen gardener who didn't make the feature cut, but I'm not sure if he was cut out of the pilot.

For some reason, I can't remember the actress' name, but I can remember the character name of John Travolta in The Punisher. Is that bad? Or awesome

Either crop or cut. The whole masturbation scene can be cut. And the f-bombs in the first hour and half were obviously ADRed and are easy to cut.

Can you believe the irony that ABC is airing it after all those shenanigans (making it for air, rejecting it, turns into a film, and now full circle)?

So if I started uploading deleted scenes on YouTube, think ABC would shut me down?

The plan is to host them elsewhere and use some other means to stream. YouTube just gets the widest audience... either way, that second Robert Forster scene is going up.
