He's still ugly as fuck. Especially with that grotesque beard.
Anyway, show started sucking around 05 and since then has maintained it's level of mediocrity since then, especially since they brought in Poof. Movie's gonna suck too. I've always seen Drake as an insufferable prick. |
Major trolling. Don't judge a book by its goddamn cover, or you're gonna start pissing people off.

I was with this until "Live action and CGI animation".
Talk about most likely ruining one of the only good things Nick has left. If it wasn't for Spongebob, them airing animu again (DBZ Kai), new Power Rangers adapts coming, and the upcoming US-animated Voltron Force, they'd be 70's-late 80's era Disney bad.

Hey, I'm not trolling. I'm just stating my opinions. I think Josh is ugly. My opinion of the show drastically dropped around '05. Everything I've seen Drake in he also plays people I don't like, of course my bias is going to carry over onto other projects he works on.

This movie has a chance as long as they don't let M.Night royally piss all over the back of it's throat... I hate him now.

Truly, the only thing that could make this movie okay would be to 1) Make the plot, characters, and execution excellent enough to make us forget that the show has been a suckapalooza jumped shark since they brought in Poof, or 2) Scrap the movie, fire Drake, make cartoon better, or 3) Nick goes and DIES IN A HOLE after the movie airs if it doesn't figure out that we are not stupid, and actually like things called good story, characters, and jokes. I miss when Spongebob was good. The movie was it's peak, and now it is has fallen off a cliff. Fairly Oddparents is going the way of Spongebob, albeit at a much slower pace, and the serious network decay Nick and CN (though I shudder to abbreviate it as such) has ruined cartoons for me, and has forced me to say that I have grown out of them after many years of putting them off.
tl;dr: Thanks for ruining my extended childhood.

I was discussing this with Atmanryu and he mentioned his inability to see Costanza as Cosmo. I asked him who he'd prefer and he came up with Jim Carrey. I figured that might work, but later on it hit me that Carrey would actually make a pretty damn good Crocker.

God...For nearly a year I'd forgotten about this, but it seems they're still doing it (and with Poof no less):

I still maintain that this movie is going to be a crime against humanity.

I didn't realize this was coming on tonight. I actually didn't read up on it enough to realize it was coming on TV instead of theaters. Anyways, it's an hour long, I can think of worse ways to waste some time. I might check it out for a few.

I didn't think it was too bad. I would have liked to have seen some of the old mainstays of the show like vicky and timmy's friends.

Well, I got to see this today (really wish I opened this before then), and it was...interesting. I wouldn't call it "good" though. Good enough, maybe. Made the best of a bad idea. And everything just seemed so...low-budget. Jorgen's costume looked like something out of a school play or something.
Still, it was fun enough until the ending. What the hell? You present this whose Aesop about growing up and leaving your childhood behind, and then you pull that fucking ending?
And BTW, you want to get rid of the bad guy? He did try and murder a woman right in front of the whole town. Apparently Dimmsdale has no police.

The movie actually felt like a backdoor pilot for a live action fairy series. That would explain the ending.
