I am pretty much obsessed with these. Growing up, my uncle was also obsessed with them and I think that's where it started for me. My favorites, in no real order are:
Tales from the Darkside - The Movie - So good! "Don't you just love happy endings?"
Creepshow 1 and 2 - I am one of those people that actually enjoys the 2nd one better. It may be because I'm so burned out on the first one. It had this cheese factor that the second one didn't seem to have. That hitch hiker gave me nightmares as a kid.
Tales from the Crypt (1972) - This one is admittedly a little dated, but it still carries a pretty big shock value. It just feels so goddamn creepy and dirty, and that still applies even when watching it today. The Vault of Horror, it's sequel is also pretty awesome.
Tales from the Hood - This one got passed over by a lot of people who love horror. It carried that "gangsta" vibe that may have thrown people off but don't be mistaken, this movie is fantastic. It still creeps the hell out of me, especially the ending.
There are more, but I'll let you guys discuss which ones you like and which ones you don't.

I haven't seen many of these, except one of the Creep Shows--I think it was 2? Whichever one had "Quitters, Inc" with James Woods in it. I'm not usually a horror fan but I love King and I love James Woods. Scared the ever-loving piss out of me. I don't think there's anything scarier than the idea that someone you love is going to suffer because you did something stupid. *shudder*

Ugh, I remember mentioning that I liked "Tales from the Hood" back in school. I groan because a black student nearby claimed "Shit, you just like that because black guys die."
I can't recall any others besides the ones mentioned at the top.

I was always disappointed as a kid when the actual show started and the crypt puppet segment was done.

On that note, just a reminder that I did an article on the puppet's voice actor:

Trick 'r Treat: It's a recently made horror anthology that went under a lot of people's radars when it came out a few years ago, but it's a great, great movie. Watch it around Halloween for maximum effect. You won't be disappointed, I promise.

Stay away from Creepshow III at all costs.
Creepshow 2 is good, but I like Creepshow 1 better.
I've been meaning to track down Vault of Horror and Tales From The Crypt for awhile now. And Trilogy of Terror.
Another favorite of mine: Tales From The Darkside, which is generally regarded as the REAL Creepshow 3. Favorite part? When Grandpa from Pete & Pete (William Hickey) hires Buster Poindexter to kill his satanic cat.

Yeah, fuck Creepshow 3.
Fun fact, Buster Poindexter was also the park ranger on an episode of Pete and Pete.
