I don't know if there is a topic or if any of you like this movie or have seen it, but I bought it for 5 bucks last night at BlockBuster and it was by far the greatest $5 I have ever spent. Tony Jaa is a beast!

No this is the Tony Jaa Movie, It says its presented by Quetin Terrentino, but he only shot one scene in the movie. But it was one of the longest "uncut" fight scenes in history. Look it up on You Tube, and Definitly check out the movie.

People say they can't make a good videogame movie. But this is, for all intents and purposes, the movie equivalent of a 2D beat em up.

I mean, its got

1. mcguffin reason for beating people up (the damn elephant)
2. A set of opponents on wheeled vehicles for one scene.
3. "shtick" martial artist opponents. (the capioera guy, and the sword guy)
4. A bunch of mooks to beat up that put up no real resistance
5. Environment weapons that don't last very long
6. A fight in a warehouse.
7. A really big guy that hits you while you attack him cause he is just that tough
8. A helecopter
9. The final boss is a crime leader
10. The final boss is sitting on a throne or fancy chair
11. The only female to fight uses a whip
12. A main character with little to no personality

Okay, some of these things could just be considered symptoms of an action movie, versus a beat em up. And it is lacking certain other defining features like-

1. Really quick guy with vega claws.
2. Elevator lvl
3. Generic Fat guy opponents
4. The main character to my knowledge never eats on screen, so no apples and roast turkeys from trash cans

Still, its basically as banal and entertaining. I enjoyed it.

The Longest fight is good, but there are so many in that movie it might be in my top five. #1 being when he walks into the room and sees something he doesn't like so much, and then snaps.

I once called it "Baber: The Live Action Movie". I stand by that. The uncut international version of the film is the best.

Ong-Bak - Not the best film, but alright. "Spirted Warrior" however is garbage that should remain lost.
