They're filming about five blocks south of where I work. I thought they were just gonna have stunt actors and anonymous goons there, so I didn't bother stopping by - but I've heard rumors that Heath Ledger was there, so I probably should wander over during lunch....I have been pointlessly staring down Jackson and Adams across the river on my way to and from the LaSalle Street Metra Station, hoping to see something. All I've seen is cranes.

You can bet your sweet ass I'll be there for principal photography in June though.

I went out for lunch around 11:15 and saw a bunch of firetrucks heading south on Wacker while I was walking to Chipotle. Later, I found out that they were heading to the Batman set because a floor in the old building they're filming in got set on fire:

They're almost done setting up trailers in the empty lot on the SE corner of the block my office is on. Plus, there's signs near it directing actors towards restrooms and food services. So, they're definitely filming near my office, I just need to find out exactly where and when.

Update (6/21):

Just came back from walking around a bit. Didn't see any filming (rumors are that a big shoot was last night), but there's security guards along the area around the intersections of randolph, wells, franklin, and washington.

One of the trailers in the Loop has a door labeled Scarecrow Double, so it appears that the Scarecrow is indeed in the movie again. Although, I haven't heard anything about Cillian Murphy being signed on for the picture.
