I'm seriously concerned for our nation. This woman has announced that she is running for the presidency in 2012. Now, I'm sure by now that most people on here have gathered that I'm not exactly a fan of the right or Republicanism, but still! The woman is an idiot! She makes Sarah Palin look like a genius, in my opinion anyways. I'm a cynic about politicians in general, but it's like there is literally no good candidate for the presidency.
A lot of people are saying that the critics of her are just sexist, that they can't fathom the idea of a smart, beautiful, Republican lady being successful in politics. Well, I'm here to say that I am a woman who does NOT support her. Find a new excuse please.

I personally don't like the rhetoric of "taking back America" I think a bipartisan mentality is the only mentality that will lead us to maintain our competitive edge and liberties we hold so dear.

If you follow politics, you're aware of who this person is. She's a moron.
She also has no chance at getting elected President. Non-issue.
She has absolutely zero knowledge of history, especially American History. She also has zero knowledge of the Constitution. She is also one of the forerunners of the Tea Party.
If my memory serves me correctly, I remember her saying something about how "our Founding Fathers worked diligently for over 100 years to rid America of slavery". Which is completely inaccurate on many terms.

Well shit. I'm for reelecting Obama (especially given the lack of other viable options out there), but I was hoping he'd have to work for it at least a little bit. Good grief.

First, I realize that those people who are smart know she has zero chance of winning. But the thing is....the fact that she's even in the running SCARES ME. I don't want some fluke where she ends up my president for the next four years! And secondly, I agree with SH. There is a major lack of any real candidates, so unless one shows up, I'm voting Obama.

I don't think Romney or Pawlenty have a chance, Pawlenty is not aggressive enough, and Romney has too much baggage. Don't count out Ron Paul, hes winning in most of the polls. I don't know why people think that the tea-party will have some kind of Ross Perot/Ralph Nader effect in the 2012 elections, because it certainly wasn't the case in the 2010 midterm elections, wishful thinking maybe? I think Obama is going to win, but it won't be because the teabaggers split the conservative vote.
