Shit, I thought you were talking about the 1927 movie for a second, because that would've been WAY wrong. |
Glad I wasn't the only one.

Revenge of the Nerds is a pretty damn good movie. I wouldn't say it was emotional in sad fashion, but by the end, you definitely feel that they have indeed won and you're happy for them.

The problem isn't the subject matter, it's the damn delivery. Schumacher has a hard time making me like the characters or believe their performances. Everyone feels too subjected to the most outlandish stereotypes and devoid of any real emotion.

I saw that one in my Japanese class, we were given the choice to watch that or Ponyo, and people chose this one. It's a great movie and all, but I wanted to see Ponyo
Oh, and you guys know that this story is based on someone's life story, right? I mean, it's not like it's exactly what happened, but it's not too far off either

In the any movie either Hollywood or Bollywood there are emotional moments are always been shoots. I like emotional moments or scenes.I have one thing noted ,when the emotional moments are seen the background sound is become a normal.

The Legend of 1900. One of the few movies that had me genuinely crying at the end. (When I see people I care about crying, it makes me sad. This was literally me getting emotional over the film.) A true masterpiece, and also the saddest movie I've ever seen.
And, to a lesser extent, Big Fish. Watching Bloom's life in its entirety, and seeing how beautifully and poetically it came to an end.

Up. Oh my God, Up. I rented Up 2 weeks after the breakup of a very long, serious relationship. I figured "Hey, a Pixar movie. This should lift up my bum spirit. Nothing like good ol' Pixar to make me feel good"
Yeah. Barely survived that experience.
Anyway, *SPOILER*
The scene with the rocks in Schindler's List doesn't get me anywhere near as bad as Oscar's emotional breakdown did. After all he'd done, the one thing he couldn't stop torturing himself for was not doing more. That's a very real, human reaction. I do disaster relief volunteer work and I see this happen all the time.

Another one for grave of the fireflies
definitely the saddest movie i've ever seen, i don't think ONE good thing happens the entire movie... you just get slammed with sadness, sadness, and more sadness
