How about this radical idea...
Say you're reducing the amount of clones and then making the 3 Star Fox characters fuckin' different! A slightly different reflector and blaster along with a differently colored Final Smash doesn't excuse lazy programming dammit!

I'm partial to calling it Slobberknocker myself. Add Mii support and I'll even make a Jim Ross one for it.

I'd like to see to Popeye in the next one, Nintendo has a history with the character and he'd be pretty fun to play.

If Snakes taken out, I'd like to see his move set recycled and given to Jeff from Earthbound. Just replace Snakes weapons with fireworks, toss in the Sky Runner and you're set.

Also, Little Mac really needs to be playable.

First off i have characters to take out:

You don't need Toon Link and Link, just have fucking Link. There's too many pokemon as well, pikachu should be the only one.

Add cool people like K. Rool. Also Waluigi, make it happen!

Also, if Simon Belmont does make it into this somehow I will promise to main him no matter how bad he is...put that motherfucker in or ELSE, Nintendo.

Needs more Little Mac and yes, K Rool would be good. And Dixie Kong. And I'm interested to see what Plusle and Minun would have been like as a team.

Unless they improve the implementation of Final Smashes, I wouldn't mind seeing them go either, I turned those off like a week or two after owning the game.

Yes, to bonuses. And there should still be items.

I'd like to see a better Challenge Mode and more fun/challenging ways to unlock trophies. There were some really creative trophy challenges in Melee. The challenges and unlockable trophies in Brawl done in almost workmanlike fashion. You can tell the designers didn't have fun making them and probably did want to include them, which makes them assholes by default.

I'd like to see Wario completely revamped to be more like the platform character and less like the boring mini game mascot. (Boring, in this case, is modifying both mascot and mini game.)

Mouser should be an assist trophy.

Also, no tripping and tighter controls. Brawl was so fucking chaotic, and that wasn't a good thing.

Random tripping should be removed completely. I'm for induced tripping via banana or sweep attacks.

I want to see more obscure characters from games everyone forgot about. There were more than a few such characters in Melee's trophies, so I can't see why they wouldn't have more of them in-game. Also, Little Mac and/or his opponents as players.

Yeah guys, if tripping doesn't get removed then Sakurai must not really care what people think. I don't care if you are casual or competitive, not one of the tons of people I've talked to about this likes tripping. And if you like tripping, feel free to trip down a flight of stairs.

Okay, maybe it's funny when people slip on banana peels.

I agree on both points.

Obscure characters have a lot of potential to bring in some new fighting styles into the mix.

Jeff from Earthbound should be upgraded from an Assist Trophy to full-fledged fighter. There are a lot of tools and gimmicks besides the bottle rockets that he could use.

Dark Samus could be interesting, as long as it's not simply a clone character.

Oh, and Q. Don't try to make any sense out of it, just throw him in.

People have been wanting Ridley for awhile now. I don't see that working though, being as in current canon, Ridley is like 5 times as big as Samus. I don't know.... Eggplant Wizard?
