Not at all, the animation just reminds me of the kind of stuff that Manga Entertainment released like crazy in the 90's.

I prefer the vast majority of the stuff Manga was releasing in the 90s to the boring garbage I've seen come out of Japan post-1995.

On one hand, you can tell tons of effort went into it, considering the animation's pretty decent, considering this is the work of one guy (plus voice actors).

On the other hand, keep in mind the only reason they used the 3rd Doctor for this is because he was the only Doctor with actual martial arts knowledge (because it's not anime until someone throws a shoryuken...)

Other than that, enjoyable.
