Or that there are 58 states, or that Africa is a nation, or that an answer depends on what your definition of "is" is, or that potato is spelled with an e...

She isn't the first idiot to run (and she wouldn't be the first to win if, God forbid, she does).

She's not the only politician to make mistakes, but she's one of the few dumb enough to not recognize her errors and she instead defends the retarded shit she said earlier.

Yeah that's pretty much my issue with her. Everyone makes mistakes and when you are constantly in the public spectrum they are more likely to get noticed. She however turns anyone pointing them out into a attacker trying to take her down.

Yep, Opti and lava covered it.

It's really a shame. I would LOVE to love Palin as a person (although I disagree with her politics vehemently.) I mean, she's from Alaska, loves to hunt, and seems to have no fear of being a female in a generally male-dominated profession.

Too bad she's a complete ass, and an idiot to boot. Sigh.

I think it's sad that these are the women that are political figures. I don't think it's very good for our image....

Would you rather have this image?

Also, this isn't just the Republican Party, Nancy Pelosi and Hillary said some very stupid shit as well.

....did I ever say "only the Republican female politicians"? Honestly, Hillary Clinton is just as bad, if not worse. I really don't like that woman. I simply mean I wish we had a female politician who gave a positive role model image, as well as one that could dispel the male-dominated field of politics.

I wasn't calling you out or anything, simply keeping the playing field level.

On that note, are there any female politicians that haven't said stupid shit?

I thought the title was serious.

As long as they don't actually win, then I just laugh at their dumb fuckery, really.

Ahh, Palin. And to think, what if the presidential election went the other way and McCain had won? We'd have been one assassin's bullet away from having this as president.

God damn, Palin makes Dan Quayle's 'potatoe' gaffe in the early 90s seem like someone misspelling "thermodynamic" on their Aerospace Engineering Dissertation.

Cracked.com wrote:

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas.

Assassins bullet?! Have you seen how being president ages people? McCain would have dropped in his first 180

For the record, Clinton asking for "is" to be defined was perfectly legitimate. It sounds really stupid, but it was very important to be clear exactly what question was being asked.

Well if Clinton just admitted everything from the entire beginning, it would've saved us all from that scandal spectacle, as well as allow him to focus on doing his job. I have to wonder how this ongoing drama effected the Presidential decision making during this time. In retrospect, none of what happened should have been as big of a deal as it actually was. I don't care who the President is fucking, as long as he isn't fucking me.

It completely baffles me how someone can get a cold, hard, well-known fact wrong, and get away with defending it like that.

She's promoting the right for arms, what's the problem with using slightly changed historical facts to prove her point? Razz
