I wouldn't get Crystalis if you have the original, the GBC port isn't that good.

Other than the intro, what is different?

Just a few of the issues, I know they changed several other things as well.

Like I said, only get the GBC version if you don't have the original.

Is Resident Evil Gaiden really good? I always dismissed it as a cash-in.

I've never played it, either, but you can watch this YouTube video to see for yourself:

Haha, love the shooting. I guess it looks decent enough as an adventure-game, but pretty bad as an action-game.

I'd say it's a pretty good game. The shooting system is a wee bit strange, but once you get used to it, it becomes second nature. It doesn't have all of the survival horror elements of the other games (half the time when you get damaged, you have no control over it, leaving ammo and item conservation kind of pointless), but as an adventure game, it's pretty great.

Also, it stars Barry Burton. Which means you have to get it.

I might plan on getting it just because it's flat out quirky compared to the other games.

Slightly off topic, but you mentioned that yours came without the battery cover. My question is how can people lose the battery cover??? I've been looking for an original Game Boy, every time I've found one it's always missing the battery cover! Why.. why...?
