I bought a GameBoy Color today for $20. It's green, and still works perfectly. The only thing missing was the battery cover. $20, OMG, that's awesome! Very Happy

OMG, that's not awesome; you payed $10 more than you should have.

If you're looking for games, I suggest Wario Land 3.

Check out Pokemon Gold or Silver, I think those are the only GBC games I own, everything else is classic.

Oracle Of Seasons and Oracle Of Ages are great too. And get Pokémon Crystal instead of Gold or Silver. Yes, it's basically the same game, but there are a couple of improvements. Oh, and there's some great original GB games, like Super Mario Land, Mario Land 2, Wario Land, Pokémon Red/Blue, and Link's Awakening (DX is better, though). Other good titles include any Game & Watch Gallery, Pokémon Yellow, Tetris, Dr. Mario, etc.

Also, get Pokemon Yellow instead of Red/Blue. It's the Special Pikachu Edition!

Yellow and Crystal are totally gay. You can't do the Missingno. glitch on Yellow and Crystal has that stupid Suicune side quest.

Come on, Dodd. Would you call Yellow gay to this face?

On a side note, the rug in that picture looks eerily like the sign in my sig.

I already had Pokemon Yellow, and Silver. Also Oracle of Ages, I used to have alot of GBC games, but they seem to have been misplaced. :/

Although they removed the Cinnabar Island trick in Yellow, there is still a way to encounter Missingno through the Mew glitch. I've already duplicated several TM's in my copy. It's trickier but it can be done.

There is too much grinding in yellow i think.

Especially at the start. Pikachu just ruins the game, the only good thing is you get all three starters throughout the game.

Shantae is a pretty good game, although it's a bitch to find for cheap. I also recommend some games like Frogger 2, Metal Gear Solid, and Pokemon Puzzle Challenge.

Insert dumb quote here. Go ahead, I know you're gonna do it.

Two best games on GBC? Mario Golf and Super Mario Bros. Deluxe.

Don't believe me, then fuck you!

I do have a Game Boy Color, and I've enjoyed it. However, while I hate to drift from topic and start a fight, I much prefer the Game Boy Advance SP, since it has an illuminated screen.

As for games, here are the few Game Boy Color games I have:
Super Mario Bros. Deluxe
Pokemon Pinball
Pokemon Silver

I think they're both great, but I grew up playing Yellow, and I had a lot of fun playing it. Yellow is a lot like Fire Red, but you have Pikachu follow you around, and a few other minor difference. Like Pikachu can't evolve, I don't think Sad .

Well, technically, you could trade one from Red or Blue and evolve that one. But why would you want to? Raichu sucks.

Those are both great games. I was surprised at how good Mario Golf on GBC is, I played it into the ground on the N64.

Mario Golf was actually my first GBC game, and while I played the shit out of it, I ended up selling it several years later. I'll probably buy it back at some point.

Mario Tennis isn't bad, either. But, it's like a Godfather part III to Mario Golf's Godfather. It's still good, but not as memorable.

I suggest getting Dragon Warrior III, Street Fighter Alpha, both Zelda: Oracle games, Killer Instinct, Metroid II, all four Final Fantasies, the first Heroes of Might and Magic, Super Mario Deluxe, Crystalis, and Resident Evil Gaiden.
