If you go here and click the far right picture, it should take you to the HBO Go page for Game of Thrones. It says if you have an HBO subscription, HBO Go is free, but is it different with Comcast or something?

I watched them together, so I don't really remember what happened in one vs the other... all I can tell you is...
Spoiler for Episode 7:
[SPOILER:7415f7ba46]
showed he is really
I knew he was bad, but holy crap... didn't see it coming that way. They haven't even established if he will support the Lanisters or if he will just take the throne for himself.[/SPOILER:7415f7ba46]

Omg I just got done with 7 and I did a :O lol I even gasped out loud.
[SPOILER:b3cf0a3cd0]I was really shocked with how they killed Viserys at the end of the 6th ep. A very brutal death and not one I'm necessarily sure he deserved. Drogo never filled his end of the bargain after all, and while Viserys was being a dick about it, he still kinda had a point. Drogo took his sister and then just... did nothing, lol.
Poor Ned Stark :O He's such a wallbanger because he's so honorable and tactful to a point that he can't just come out right there in the throne room and tell everyone that Cersei was boning her own brother and Joffrey is a child of incest and not even Robert's son.
Now I see why the book, nay, this entire TV series is called Game of Thrones... it took seven episodes to set it all up, but we see that who succeeds after Robert's death is the question, and several different people have some sort of claim to that throne. Who do we all have now? Joffrey, who is Robert's legal son, if not his legitimate or biological one; Stannus, Robert's brother, who Renly says is a good swordsman but not much in the way of politics; Renly himself, who seems much more suited for politics but not so much in the way of battle; Daenerys, who is (mistakenly) believing that Robert still wants her dead, even though he is now dead and has no ill will towards her now. I'm sure others will make a play towards the throne as well.
Anyway, poor honorable fool Ned Stark is now at the hands of Littlefinger... Unfortunately I don't feel he'll be fairing well from here on out. I bet Cersei will keep Joffrey on the throne in some way. I wonder if Sansa will still be wed to Joffrey... and what of Arya? We didn't see her in this last episode. If Cersei wants to keep her son on the throne, she'll have to do away with Ned Stark, just like I'm assuming she did with Jon Arryn, since they both put the pieces together and figured out her children are not Robert's children. Oh, speaking of which, I suppose Robert's bastard blacksmith son has a claim to the throne as well, doesn't he? Or do they not think bastard children have claims to the throne in this universe? He's still Robert's son, legitimate or not. Hmm.
Ah all this political intrigue is amazing :O And now I'm frustrated because it'll be TWO WEEKS until a new episode airs! D:[/SPOILER:b3cf0a3cd0]

Hmm well the show is finally getting interesting. The 6th and 7th episodes actually gave me reason to keep watching. I know they were trying to do some character development before, but damn did it lack the action of these last couple episodes and it really is benefiting from it.

I watched the first two episodes and it sucked. There was some snow guys who killed everyone in the first 5 minutes and then nothing happened for the next 2 hours. Fuck this medieval soap opera

Yeah that is exactly what I thought for the first few episodes but the show does actually begin to pick up about the 5th episode and stops being as much of a soap opera. At least there has been some fighting and stuff you'd expect from a medieval-based show.

To add Aika the legitimate blacksmith child would be in that list as well.

I never got the soap vibe to be honest. I think of soaps i think of twisted romantic plot lines. I don't really see that here, I saw a lot of politics, backstabbing, and battles buidling up, speciifically i see a lot of story and character buidling. It's definitly not eye-candy/action flick if that's what you want. If you can keep it all straight all this "chatter" is pretty intense.

You know, I do have the episode 3 in my computer but I'm still roaming my mind around the second one. What the hell was wrong with that editing?? In one scene the king left to ride to King's Landing, the distant land, but in the next one he was back in town to kill a dog. And what's up with those ddogs?? The winter was coming and they were helpless puppies (they were going to die) and in the next episode winter is still to come and they are already full grown wolves. maybe I don't understand everything. is a strange accent and English is not my native languague, but still it bothers me....

Tonights episode is written by George RR Martin. I am very excited.
In other news, I've decided that if I ever start a heavy metal band, I'm naming it Kahl Drogo

They don't really explain it well in the series, but winter only comes every few years, and it last for a few years. According to the original author, "summers span decades and winters can last a lifetime."

For the second episode, you have to remember that the whole group left for King's Landing: Ned Stark, both his daughters, and both their dogs. So, no, he wasn't back in town to kill the dog. The group was stopped at an inn halfway between Winterfell and King's Landing. The dog was with them.

The travel from Winterfell and King's Landing takes nearly a month plus any other passed time. This was discussed in the first episode, just not at length.

It seems to me that the show has taken place over some length of time. I think it's entirely possible that a number of months have passed between the episodes so far.

[SPOILER:551ab6ce1f]
Does this story just cycle through characters? Seriously how many main characters die in the first season? All?
I am beginning to think that this story is not about the current time, but rather a future battle in like 5-10 years. Arya is going to fuck shit up. I mean, seriously fuck shit up. At least that is what we have to look forward to since everyone else is pretty much fucked.
Yeah, I didn't like Ned getting his head lopped off.

That episode was killer
[SPOILER:096375186f]I'm not surprised Ned died. I honestly didn't see any way for that to end well for him.
Jeoffry has fucked up something awful. I doubt he makes it through the end of the next season. His actions have basically sealed House Lannester's fate.[/SPOILER:096375186f]

I still need to watch Sunday's episode but I just finished the first book in the series. So far it has been faithful to the book almost entirely. I can't wait to get a chance to see the episode.

Next season I am not going to watch it week by week. This anticipation is fucking with me so badly. I'll just wait until the season is over and watch it all back to back.

Yeah I'm just reading the books because I want to know what happens right away. The show is fun to watch because it is cool to see how they translate it to the screen.

I absolutely love this series. It comes close to my all time favorite, The Wire.
