That's why i took that from it. On saying that the whole going to the hospital thing is weird because when my sister was born i didn't go to the hospital. I guess that's what she meant.

However i presumed it the same way as my father would be with his wife while she gave birth i.e. why would i want to be in that position as the son and in the case of the original poster - daughter.

Also in that case i wouldn't rush out. What are you rushing out for? She's going into labour that doesn't mean you have to be there fucking lickety split. She could have spared a few minutes for a quick boning.

But like i said: if it was for support then cool.
