All you need to know about this movie is that it looked like it was filmed to show on Lifetime or USA. Gawd damn this movie sucked.

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us.

Yanno, that's actually a valid point...

If this is a movie for objectivists made by objectivists, shouldn't its production values be above Titanic AND Avatar combined, with a casting that won't be seen anywhere else, since objectivists are supposed to be the brightest and the best at doing anything? Oh yes, no proper funding.

But that being said, wouldn't the objectivists tycoons of the world be compelled to invest in this movie in the hopes to enlighten the masses about Ayn Rand and the greatness of Objectivism? Or perhaps said tycoons didn't feel like it because it didn't fit within their rational self-interest agenda?

Furthermore, seeing how well received this movie was, what does it tell us about the director? That he didn't work hard enough to achieve his happiness? That he fails to follow the same philosophy he expected to share with this movie?

Oh sweet, sweet irony; there's just layers upon layers of it...

I'll admit, I've never read it. If Atma has not read it I will make him a new avatar, his glasses are getting old anyway.

I read cliff notes long time ago; you want to criticize me in terms of not understanding her philosophy or not understanding the novel? Because if it's the latter, I can give it some leverage.

And the name's AtmanRyu; there's an Atma already in the forums.

Yeah, it takes a whole of 10 minutes to understand the "complexity" of her philosophy.
