I would have walked out of that one even if I knew it was a double feature.

I would have walked out of a "The Hours" and "The Others" double feature. This has nothing to do with what you said, but for some reason I feel compelled to walk out of them right now.

The Post added that the company is also considering re-releasing the two movies as separate offerings in longer versions, as it had already decided to do overseas and on DVD.

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

Director's cuts or not, the two films should be released on one fucking DVD.

TRUE!!!! Evil

1. Zoe and Kim weren't particularly likeable characters, so it was really hard to root for them. Especially Kim.

Would you say that if you watched the film again, Zoe would be a more likable character? Cause I friggin' love her now.

Hmmmm....probably. Her recklessness was kind of irritating, like she was begging to be killed. But by the end, her resilience did kinda win me over. Also she was more likeable with her hair down.

"Word on the digital street is that Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarrantino's splatter homage Grindhouse will not be released as two seperate feature films, in spite of earlier rumors to the contrary.

Movie site Joblo did some digging and discovered that the film's exec producers, the Weinstein brothers, considered splitting the film into two features, did some testing at out-of-the-way theaters, but ultimately concluded that it just wasn't worth it: No one wanted to see Grindhouse no matter how they diced it.

Seriously, go check it out while it's still playing... or wait for the DVD, which you will need to have when it comes to a store near you."

They split the movies into two separate movies around here, but they also split the price. I blame the idiots who walked out after "Planet Terror" was finished.

I'm gonna go see this on thursday I think. It's playing at a theatre less than half a block from my house, so I have no excuse not to.

Deathproof will be released on DVD September 18th. No word as to when Planet Terror or a dual-movie DVD release is happening.

I never want to meet Harvey Weinstein. That's how much I fear him. Latkes included.

Pretty sure it's Vanessa Ferlito.

Also, Werewolf Women of the S.S. may get made into a full-blown movie. There were a couple of online petitions floating around trying to get Rob Zombie to make into a full movie. Zombie took notice of the petitions and decided to gauge whether or not people really wanted to see it on his MySpace: http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=28735418&blogID=339399273

The response has been overwhelming positive, so it could ACTUALLY happen. See Nicolas Cage as Fu Manchu!
