Saw this yesterday and enjoyed it. It was a pretty good critique of remakes/reboots and the internet culture. Pretty good amounts of deaths as well. I think you'll like it if you a fan of the series of slasher films in general. Courtney Cox kind of looked bad though. Too much Botox or something.

I'm afraid to see this. Scream 3 was a trainwreck, but at least it ended with the three characters that anyone cares about (Sydney, Gail, Dewey) surviving. With a 4th movie (and two more rumored to be on the way), it's unlikely that all three will survive through the end.

I have the Scream trilogy box set and i watched 3 not a week ago.
It isn't that bad. At least the series has some sort of originality with each movie that comes out. I can't wait to see it!

I just want to know if any of those three characters die in the 4th. Craven pissed me off when he killed off the franchise's coolest character, Randy in the 2nd.

I'd almost withhold judgment, but they really should've stopped after the second one. The very fact that they had a Jay and Silent Bob cameo in the 3rd, really pissed me off. Sure, the movies shouldn't take themselves seriously, but when you throw something that ridiculous, that out of place, just shows that you aren't really trying. I don't know if I'll see this one.

I think I'm going to go see this on the weekend, it got much much better reviews than I expected
typically I'll watch any horror movie that has better than a 5 on IMDB, because I love horror movies. Sadly they don't make good ones very often anymore.
I miss quality like the exorcist, evil dead I-II (these are my favorite horrors ever), pretty much any hitchcock.... directors used to actually TRY when they made a horror/thriller movie, and it doesn't seem like they do anymore

I saw it and wasn't really impressed. Still pleased with the Culkin clan's slow resurgence, but by and large it wasn't that funny or scary as far as I was concerned. I spent money on this one, but if there's two more, count me out. And as was mentioned earlier, Courtney Cox really needs to lay off of the plastic surgery. A woman that old shouldn't look that smooth, it's unnatural and a little creepy.

I'm not into these, but my wife is a die hard fan of the series, and she said she HATED Scream 4.
