Question (and this is certainly not intended to rush anyone, believe me.): I *should* still be waiting for my save at this point, right? (I rather lost track of where we are in the Derby...last I heard I was up next, but haven't gotten the save yet.)

From what I understand Douche did his part, but has trouble recording it. That means he COULD send the save, but as it's not recorded yet he may want to wait in case it gets
screwed up somehow and he has to redo it, to avoid continuity problems...although I'm not sure how that would happen as it's not the same subgame.

Fernin has the save and either sent it or will send it to you. I'm shipping my movie file to someone to create and upload since I care not for such things.

Douche said he would email me his .zmv movie file yesterday, but has yet to do so. I assume that means he's finished with the re-recording.

Also, what's the version number of ZSNES that you're using?

Fern, how soon do you need my video uploaded? My save state is away, but I dunno if I'll be able to upload the video before Wends/Thurs. Is that ok?

Hold off on uploading your section until we get Douche's section squared away and uploaded. ...Or, possibly, Zero's second section, if Douche can't get things together soon.

The baton has been forcefully passed from Douche back to Zero, he'll be handling the final segment of the Great Cave Offensive so we can get this thing moving again. Sorry, Douche.

Douche, not to bust in on Fernin's thing, but it's been over a month. I'm sorry, it's not anything personal or the like, but you blew it. I think Fernin's pretty justified in passing it on at this point, and truth be told, I would have passed it on two weeks ago.

Annotations will be added soon, you can go ahead and upload yours now, Hawk, and send the save state off to Shardea.

I'm not sure I'll be able to do my section; I'm having severe, intermittent hardware problems. I've been playing around with ZSNES, and have figured out how to record, play, and dump the videos; I do not yet have the save state. Once I have it, I can probably get it recorded pretty easily - if my computer hasn't shut down by then. If it has, I have maybe 30% confidence of being able to complete it in a timely manner.

At any rate, I'll let you guys know within a couple days of receiving the save whether I can do it or not.

Well, that didn't take as long as I expected. My segment is done, and I am sending the state to Fernin and... um, Fernin. (that makes things easy...) I'll encode the video tonight, and be ready to upload it whenever the appropriate time would be.

EDIT: I will make the claim that double-posting is in this case appropriate.

So funny story: I just went onto the collab account for S&G, and realized that I never uploaded my bloody videos. SO, so sorry. Fixing that now, and they should be finished uploading very soon. (I'll add my annotations this weekend, assuming I'm sober enough Wink

).
