I guess we all saw it coming. The site had been dying for a while, but to actually see it happen is still unreal.

There was advertisements on every page, that and all the fucking pop ups I got, fucking pop ups...they had to have had enough with all the ads.

I second that. Granted, it was the least classy site aside from 4chan and goatse, but it did prove how people can become colossal dicks when given the chance. How so? Most of the entries were written by the same type of people they were making fun of, i.e. Furries, gays, jews, tartlets, etc.
So yeah, while not a big loss, the internet has gotten a little more boring.

I don't know if you ever saw the ads on ED before it went down, but it was pretty much all porn sites. And from what I hear, a fair amount of -those- didn't want anything to do with ED.
