What's the DEAL with airline peanuts?!?!
Man, if you want to talk about glory days, you ought to go back further than Seinfeld. He's not exactly rip-roaring, and I don't want my humor defined by him.
I too abhor the "random is funny" movement, though.

This is the dumbest shit I've ever seen. People find this shit funny? What the fuck is wrong with you? This shit represents everything that's wrong with American society. This is what our culture has been reduced to: poorly drawn, poorly written memes posing as comics that are, apparently, super hilarious to some people.
You know, it wasn't so long ago that humor was defined by people like Steven Wright and Jerry Seinfeld. Now humor is defined by whoever uses the biggest font. It's sad.
Also, fuck reddit. Reddit is shit. |
I understand your position. If I was more mature, I'm sure I'd find these comics ridiculous and unfunny as well. But as it is, it's just the right sort of brand of humor for me--random and nonsensical. It's a great release.
Also, Reddit does indeed suck a big one. Two, in fact. And Stephen Wright is awesome.

That long ass comic on Libya is HORRENDOUSLY misinformed. I get that it's just supposed to be funny and all, but it's ridiculously wrong on the causes and motivations of that conflict and shouldn't be considered learning of any degree.

Well, if it's funny, and I didn't learn anything, I'm calling it a double win

This is the only Rage Comic that made me laugh. Why do I feel like a horrible person out of the sudden?

I never search for the spider in those situations, I always assume it'll either jump off or be brave enough to ride me like some sort of giant steed.

The only difference is we don't bite the horses and give them deadly infections, now do we?
