For some reason, I don't see that working very well. I would suggest asking first, or waiting for them to ask; you don't want to do that all for no reason.

I asked this. I got told that she's had candidates who actually have experience cashiering. I was then able to explain to her that i do have experience cashiering.

Find out how much you need to start a savings account, since you're a student it shouldn't be too much and they may have special programs for you as such. once you can start one, do so as soon as you can.
